Thursday is going to be a lazy day waiting for the evening stage local to Trier, so how about a mid-day meet up for those not travelling to Koln?
I shall wear my 'sick dogs' t-shirt on the Thursday and throughout the week when my Saab 93 is parked it will have a clip-on English flag flying ;)

Sounds good. Then together to the Sauertal SS?

My thoughts exactly, just wondering whether to have an early evening meal before going to Sauertal

I'm doing SS1 or SS1 and 2 (it is possible to combine both if you watch only some 30 cars on SS1). To be honest I expect SS2 to be some short stage where it's easy for organizers to gather the public where they want them to be. On google earth there isn't anything that looks attractive to me, but we plan to drive the stage on thursday morning. :)

Sadly I won't make it to the meet-up. Will do SS1 and might be in Köln earlier in the day. Not sure about the rest of the rally.

I will stay in ensch since many years. It is near the special stage mittelmosel. You can walk there and have some bears. ;-)

http://goo.gl/maps/iAWgu Point B is the location of the Old Ferry Tower Restaurant and Bar where I'll be happy to enjoy a Bitberg with anyone who happens to be in the area. Thursday 1600-1800 (heading off to SS2 then). I shall also be there Friday evening 2000-2100 - Hope I run into some of you ;) Last Post, next communication from the Mosel valley :bounce:
