His boy punts some one...and it's one of those racing deals. Andy Petree did a good job of covering for the monkey so that Rusty didn't have to cover for him.

Ambrose likes concrete ovals, but have to start wondering about his team..why he had little race speed. It seems Jon Wood and himself are finishing very close together in the few races they have raced in BGN this year.

what happened to Montoya?

No sense in racing on a racetrack that's not run by the Nextel Cup.

nothing against Carl Edwards, but terribly crappy that he won. i really thought a Busch regular would pull this one out or at least some one unheralded like David Stremme. hopefully a regular can pull one off during the Nashville-Kentucky-Milwaukee stretch in June.

I suppose Montoya doesn't need the money, but here's a good example of the difference between Marcus Ambrose and JPM - Ambrose left a lucrative drive in Australia (pretty much the best team in the V8 Supercar circus) to race NASCAR because he reckons racing 16 times a year isn't enough - he wants to race EVERY WEEKEND : )

Pity he was not able to back up his qualifying performance, but its a long year, he'll be back in the top ten soon.

I don't know/care about Marcos Ambrose, but Montoya have been racing since early January, before the Rolex 24 at Daytona that he won. The week after he started the speed week in Daytona, and didn't have a weekend off just to relax. With Rolex 24, Bush and Cup, Montoya have been racing every weekend for three months in a row, so, I guess he deserves a break.
