A traditional hot toddy is:
A double tot of whisky, the juice of a lemon, a teaspoonful of honey made up to a glassful with hot water

A modern version is
A double tot of whisky, a sachet of 'Lem-sip', a teaspoonful of honey made up to a glassful witth hot water

But for this particular malaise, I'd simply drink the whisky and forget the rest.
