I'm hoping to find some new, excellent laughter-inducing stuff that I haven't even heard of before. So why not post what you consider to be the funniest scene ever? :D

I don't think we're breaking any laws if we're just posting short clips and quoting the original work, are we?

So anyway, my all time favourite clip is from the truly excellent "Monty Python and the Holy Grail" (1975). :D

And just to introduce you to something new, here's a clip from the Estonian sketch show "Tujurikkuja" (2008), about an assassin who gets a little carried away. :D (Click on CC to get the subtitles. ;) )

Since a local TV station ran through all the episodes of Black Adder when I was in school I couldn't really appreciate Mr. Bean when I finally saw it.

And then every Monday night after Black Adder came this:

Anything by Eddie Izzard.

The film Plunkett and McLean has me in stiches.

Yes Minister for historical satire at its best.

Reminds me of a sketch from the show Big Train

This really could have been written yesterday. It rings as true today as it did 25 years ago.

Anyone ever see Chris Farley of SNL playing the part of motivational speaker, Mr Foley who lives in a van down by the river?

I am not as computer savvy as you guys so I hope someone likes this too and posts it.

I was raised on Blackadder and The Young Ones and despite knowing them inside out and upside down, they still crack me up. Bottom is also noteworthy, especially for the world's most violent game of chess. There's also A Bit of Fry and Laurie, from before Hugh was an American...

In terms of all time stand-up, I'd have to say Bill Hicks. More recently, Stewart Lee has done some very, very good stuff, although he's an acquired taste.

Done it again! Father Ted is Irish-produced for Channel 4!! The writers are both Irish; so much as I love it, no one in the UK thinks of it as British Comedy - "Arsebiscuits!"
