Interesting article on Autosport.com about Renault not wanting to supply 6 teams with engines for 2014, they quote 15m Euros for engines per team in 2013 rising to around 20m in 2014.

Renault eager to supply engines to fewer teams in Formula 1 - F1 news - AUTOSPORT.com (http://www.autosport.com/news/report.php/id/105706)

The bit that stands out for me though is that it is actaully 10m Euro for the engines this season but 5m Euro for the KERS and support! Makes the basic engines sound like a bargain....

And apparently it's all about cost cutting.

Sounds like Honda's getting back into it?? Engines, that is.

Nothing has been said in the linked article that fundamentally changes things. Renault is set to supply engines to five teams in 2014. All they [Renault] say is that they won't supply a sixth team. The only changes for 2014 are expected to be: STR switches to Renault, FI switches to Ferrari, Marussia continues with Cosworth, if they stick around. Renault gains one customer. Mercedes loses one.

Well doesn't look like FI-Ferrari now, maybe Marussia will go Ferrari as unlikely Cosworth are going to invest a shed load of money for a single team

F1 : Marussia looking to dump Cosworth Formula 1 engine supply and find another (http://www.f1sa.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=36243:f1--marussia-looking-to-dump-cosworth-formula-1-engine-supply-and-find-another&catid=1:f1&Itemid=157)

Sadly ..

I think it was a mistake to allow Renault to supply so many teams. F1 needs an independent "for profit" engine supplier like Cosworth for a long term engine supply stability. Switching to Renault hasn't done much good to Caterham anyways.

My guess for 2014 would be:

Torro Rosso to Renault
Williams to Mercedes
Marussia to Ferrari

Considering 2014 engine regs are completely different you expect the costs to go up.
