Well, as I can't find a thread about this, I'm opening one - I'm delighted to hear that Pedro de la Rosa has got himself a Ferrari test driver role. Obviously he won't get to drive much, but it's great to see that this guy will stay in F1 even at 41. :)
By the way, if someone could change title of the thread to something like "De la Rosa to Ferrari", I'd appreciate it a lot. It looks like I can't change it myself.

I have just read that on facebook and I thought it was April 1st...
Great news, at least for Spaniards!

Oh that's brilliant, well done to him!
So that is Alonso, de la Rosa and Gené in the same team?

They're still missing Alguersuari. ;)

Good luck to Pedro, I always thought he added value to a team behind the scenes and surprised McLaren didn't re-employ him after his Sauber venture. :)
Why would they? They've got Gary Paffet doing the donkey work.

McLaren wouldn't want him back after he colluded with Alonso.

McLaren wouldn't want him back after he colluded with Alonso.
Meaning? He was still there in 2011 and I don't see any way in which he would have colluded with Alonso while he was driving for HRT.

Good for him, but nowadays test drivers don't really do much, do they?

Still it is way better than fighting the HRT....
