Now that the US presidential race is over, we need something to stir the passions and inflame the sensibilities of the members of this board. Never one to back away from confrontation, I pose the question:

Chocolate or vanilla?

Have at it folks and please keep the profanity to a minimum.

My girlfriend recently cooked a meal for me and set the table with a bottle of chocolate sauce on it. It never occurred to me to have it on anything vanilla flavoured ;)

Vanilla, chocolate is way over-rated.....unless you are referring to women.
In that case I don't discriminate :)

That's how you make a proper chocolate milkshake. At least according to my father.

How I like this kind of existential questions....
As for the choice I 'm like the romanians: impartial.

I have myself a concrete milkshake in the morning. :vader: :vampire: :ninja:

It doesn't surprise me that people here are so bias as to only consider the mainstream V and C flavours. Even flirting with Strawberry shows how short sighted and narrow minded some 'contributors' on here are.

Pistaschio or Rum and Raisen is the only way to go and anyone that says different is a apologist, hateing Liberal. :p

Could you not have suggested a more black and white choice?

We sell chai tea , ginger , and even dandelion ice cream .
Our ice cream maker had a rum and raisin made with 151 rum that had the raisins so plump that you'd blow over on a breathylizer if you got a two-scoop .

But , they make the best chocolate .
The maple chunk aint bad either .

Judging by the title of this thread, I'm going out on a limb and am going to take it out of the realm of Ice Cream. I will, as usual stay within the guidelines of the forum while simultaneously using bad taste.
I actually think a couple of Hank's suggestions have merit:

Chocolate - about $A16.25/kg
Vanilla - about $A42.27/kg

Am I buying or selling? When is the forward rate contract set for?

Yes coconut gelato rules IMO. It also mixes very well with pineapple, as in piņa colada, to freakin' die for :)

101 Frightening Ice Cream Flavors From Around The World | Who Sucks (http://www.who-sucks.com/food/101-frightening-ice-cream-flavors-from-around-the-world)

Japan has some interesting flavors:

2. Octopus Ice Cream. Want to tantalize your taste buds with a tentacle? If so, Octopus Ice Cream is the solution. The Japanese have been able to come up with an amazing variety of uses for octopus, ranging from delicacy to porno movie prop. Little wonder then that octopus has found its way into ice cream

My other half had bacon ice cream with a scallop dish at a Michelin star restaurant we once went to. As I don't eat pork I decline to have the ice cream myself. I have been thinking about recreating it for my other half as I have a bacon and egg ice cream recipe in a Heston Blumental book.
