According to Autosport, Bernie has said that the French Grand Prix could return next year, presumably to fill the gap taken by the postponement of the New Jersey Race. While it would be great to see a French race back on the calendar, whether at Paul Ricard or Magny-Cours, it does seem a little surprising. Just this weekend, Bernie told Martin Brundle in an interview on Sky that it was likely we could lose a few more European races.
Surely, the French Grand Prix wouldn't be brough back for a season, only to be ditched again if New Jersey happens in 2013? This leaves me wondering whether Bernie knows something about the future of the other European races. Surely the calendar can't accommodate France, Jersey and Russia from 2014 with so many other places looking for a spot on it?
