Impreza WRX 2003 Bug Eye

I'm currently in the market for an Impreza car for rallying to replace the MK4 RWD I have and have been looking at the GC8 model.

Recently I have been offered an Impreza WRX GDA 2003 which is pretty well kitted out with regard to suspension (proflex), guards etc. Will this car give me bother with bits or am I safe and will find a lot of stuff interchangeable.

Is the GDA Impreza a Group N car or has the engine been tweaked ? If Group N - What level of Group N ? e.g standard gearbox or has it been changed to a 'dog' box etc ?
It would be an idea to have a talk with the people who service/ prepare the rally Subarus as a fulltime job in your area to give you an idea of where things are at.
