This time 5 of 7 Toyotas make it, including DJ who gets in on speed so he still has 2 CPs left. BTW the 6 dnqs were the slowest 6 cars.

THe only change is that Reutimann will start 43rd, because Kyle Petty is locked in. A locked in driver does not start 43rd, that's for the champions provisional, or if not used, the next fastest driver, which in this case is Reutimann.

You're right, I wrote that on my printout of speeds, but forgot to tranfer it to my speadsheet. I am sooo embarassed ;-)

A couple of performances stand out for me. McMurray finally seems to be getting into gear at Roush - Larry Carter may be a huge part of that as he was for Rusty getting into the Chase.
Old Ken Schrader still showed he could get the job done as well. Fourth was a terrific run for the Woods and I hope he has just as good a run on Sunday.
However, Allmendinger was a star of the show for me. He had a poor car in practice and managed to pull a fantastic second lap out of the bag to make the show. That was mightily impressive.
Good runs also for Jeremy Mayfield, Johnny Sauter and Tony Raines.
Disappointing though for Brian Vickers and Paul Menard. I know everyone talks about Mikey having a nightmare start but for me Menard is even worse. DEI give him good equipment and he made only half the races. He needs to seriously up his game and quickly if he wants to stay in the #15 car.
