Do we need to buy ticket for the stages? Because I didn't find any information about it.

And do you know some spectacular places? In the first day, we try Dobarca and Paltinis, but in second day... Gatul Berbecului or Santa Max?

You don't need a ticket for the stage.
I also go on Dobarca to see the both stage (SS1 and SS3) and Paltinis (SS6). You don't have the time to enter with the car on the SS6, you must leave it before the start.I went to Gatu Berbecului 5 or 6 year ago, at the finish of the stage, but it is hard to arrive there. You must go on a gravel road ( not so good, a lot of stone,) about 4 or 5 km. It is recommended for all SUV car. I don't know how is at the begin of the stage. If you remain on Santa you can choose the gravel or the tarmac side. Maybe the gravel is more interesting ( a little side from Paltinis stage is in Santa Max stage-the side with tarmac).

There were two different shakedowns, Mikkelsen did the other one. They just ran one lap

Hearing the interviews after the stages you start to realize, that this is almost no rally, yust a a fight to survive. Incredible numbers of flat tyres, all drivers complaining over dust (the gap beetwen cars should be three minutes), so nothing to envy them. Mikkelsen is in his own league....

Victory cruise for Mikkelsen in Romania...

Strange the way the official entries are this year for Skoda, might as well just have Andreas on the team...

Bad enough one manufacturer dominating the IRC, but now its just one driver ! :(

The gap in last section was 4 minutes and it was not enough. The dust was still there.

I know, it is becoming like WRC :(

Wouldn't say Andreas was dominating though, he's only actually won one event this year, but he is going to win the championship.

I would have liked to have seen Skoda give Hanninen and Kopecky a proper go though by giving them 8 rounds each.

Andreas was supposed to win IRC, Juho to win ERC and Jan to win Czech championship. With no real competition they sadly don't need a whole army on every event. At least You can expect all three in Barum...

It's sad but it's not their fault that Peugeot and Proton withdrawn :(

True, but I'm not sure it does them many favours really. When the championship becomes boring is when people begin to switch off.

I fear that next year Skoda will pull back even further so they can develop the Fabia R5.

I still think IRC has a nice future, many people think this is the end of it, but with WRC screwing themselves over and over again some people will turn their back to WRC and go to IRC and new classes are coming so..

Finally a victory for Andreas, I admire him that he pushed so much (and took so much risk), as on this rally you are all the time on the edgde that you broke a wheel or destroy the suspension....
