You have to make allowances for Oldie members, they get stuck in their ways, get used to something and like the way it is. Then someone comes along and changes it, might be a minor change, might be a bit more drastic, but whatever the level of change, the oldie will decide they don't like it, even before they've tried it.

Once they've tried it a couple of times they'll see that the changes are for the better, make it much nicer to use, and will settle down to their old ways in no time at all ;)

I find it irritating though. And little things like people quoting you out of context, or being petty and immature. Nobody holds a gun to your head and insists that you log on here. Nobody insists that you read the posts of the people you mention. Hell there's even an ignore button available where you won't actually see the posts of the people you choose to ignore.
