Weather looks bad on Friday and Saturday, but should be nice on Sunday.

Weather.com had it at like 50-60% a few days ago and it's been progressively getting less and less, today's gorgeous and tomorrow's only a 20-30% chance then Sunday's supposed (supposed to is a dirty word with weather around here) to be beautiful. Hopefully it'll bring the people out and pack the place.

I'd love to see Reutimann get about a 10 race suspension for that ignorant move of his today.

What a mess at the end. No respect out there, guys dive-bombing the corners, and the mess with Reutimann. That's why in my opinion the field should be reduced to about 35 cars. There are just to many garbage cars out there waiting to ruin a quality teams race.

Yeah...hate that happened. Reutimann has always seemed like such a respectable guy out there too, had it not been Danica's ride at Darlington none of that would have ever happened. And the announcers were pissed over it too. David's not rude or dumb enough to that, but they don't want Danica to have to make that race on her on. Just wrong guy wrong place.

Here's a simple idea. Once the race hits 10 laps to go, remove the cars that are 5 or more laps down, but still classify them as finishers. It gets the worst of the cars off the track and out of the way without severly impacting their ability to score points for the top 35

Maybe a better solution is to lock in the top 35 at the begining of the year and then those teams don't have to worry about trying to stay on the track in questionable situations.

That's not great if you're running 37th and 150 laps down trying to pass the off-track 36th place driver who is 141 laps down.

There is an obvious solution. Just have everyone as a go or go home entry, no reserved slots, no "provisionals", nothing, either you make the top 43 on speed or your out.

No other major league racing series does this, why should NASCAR?
