Me, sounds far too much like hard work to me. Unless; I'm a corporate sponsor or something paid to go and watch the races and pretend to be excited. I could handle that.

In my experience walking around paddocks, it seems that the overwhelming majority of people are voluntary and that the ones who ate employed were at one stage, or had existing experience as a mechanic, or programmer, or some such.

Speaking of working in the UK; some of our fundraising consultants have been making trips to universities that will need to start raising their own money for tuition and other expenses rather than rely on government support. I'd think that - however distasteful to the establishment - would be an interesting opportunity.
