I saw the main story but missed that sidebar.....like I said, with the race he had, not much.

not Much?

'Andretti finishes last'...and 'I was scared' speak volumes

Well, sure. He had a nightmare of a race.

If he is scared, why race?

I've heard drivers with ill-handling cars use similar expressions before.....nothing new there.

Yet when Michael Schumacher says he doesn't have any desire to race Indycars because they are too dangerous your ilk accuse him of being "afraid". Seems to be a bit of a double standard...

I once raced a car where the front shocks gave out part way through the race. This was a road course and I was 10+ seconds off my regular speed. On an oval I would have quit too. It was bloody scary!
PS. I am not a Marco fan.

Not so. One got scared by a race car not working properly in one race. The other felt it was too dangerous in general without ever driving one.

For which he was repetitively accused of being "afraid", completely unfairly. Yet Marco was obviously afraid, because he said so and parked it, yet you appear to be trying to minimize that fact.

Nope. Not at all. He parked it for one race because the car wasn't right. Not the first time anyone, veteran, relative newcomer or rookie, has ever done so. Schumacher never even tried it for his stated reasons. You should try to find a better issue than this one.

Schumacher never once said he was afraid, yet you and your buddies never fail to try to make it seem to be fact. OTOH, Marco most assuredly stated publicly that he was afraid, and parked the car for that reason, so your attempts to deny it are laughable. I never suggested that his fear is a permanent condition...

Schumacher felt it wasn't worth racing in a series where the female drivers have more balls than the males. :D

I DIDN'T deny it. IMO, this is a dumb argument.
