Just ran into this article, by pure chance:

Texting Teenager Responsible For Deadly Highway Pile-Up (http://autos.aol.com/article/texting-teenager-responsible-for-deadly-highway-pile-up/?ncid=txtlnkusauto00000020)

I find it funny how the journo concentrates on the driver of the pickup having sent and received text messages before the pileup and comes up with the title:

Texting Teenager Responsible For Deadly Highway Pile-Up

Even funnier that the: 'Tragedy results in recommendation from NTSB that use of portable electronics be banned while driving'

Only a couple comments concentrate on the real problem, why did the two School Busses run into the pickup and each other and then on top of the pickup and of the semi tractor?!

Maybe I missed something but the ones responsible for the deaths are the school bus drivers not the pickup driver.

PS: I am all against texting while driving, however I do use handsfree to talk on the phone while driving.

Were you driving when you wrote the thread title?

Ben, give me a break, and read the article.

PS: Maybe the utter stupidity of the journo got the better of me and I made a typo.

You can't criticise others for poor writing having made such a mistake yourself. Beyond that, I can't understand quite why this should irritate you so much.

Talk about form while missing the essential.

Ouch, I saw that too and was hoping it was deliberate...sort of a Freudian slip.
