We're constantly being told that the government have no choice but to make unpleasant and unpopular cuts, as they inherited an economic mess. We're all in this together, there's no money, you know the tune.

So in this time of national austerity, hoorah for Pickles for finding £250,000,000 of unallocated money for councils. But what is it to be spent on? Safeguarding childrens centres? Keeping libraries open? Care for the elderly? Social housing? Capping council tax for the vunerable?

Shame he has to bribe the councils, if they weren't so useless, corrupt and so filled with fukwittery they'd be able to have kept weekly bin collections all along.

Oh and it is not EP that is closing child centres, libraries, meals on wheels etc it is politically motivated council staff who want the bottom to suffer whilst they keep their big salaries and cushy pensions.

Something that most seem to miss when blaming Tory MPs for cuts, it is nowt to do with them.
