Which balls for the winter ?

I currently use Srixon Z Star XVs as my ball of choice but last winter suffered a huge Discount Golf Clubs (http://www.wordgolfshop.com)loss of distance with the ordinary Z Stars from the tee.

Talking to others, Ping G15 Driver (http://www.wordgolfshop.com/Ping-G15-Driver-868.html)a lot of people seem to change their ball in the winter so I am wondering whether or not I should do the same.

Please can you guys tell me the pros and cons of switching and also what to switch to, TaylorMade R9 SuperMax Driver (http://www.wordgolfshop.com/Taylormade-R9-Supermax-Driver-1143.html)when should I change and when should I switch back.

I thought about using Srixon AD333s or Srixon Trispeed (as they recommended on their website ball fitter) Mizuno JPX 800 Irons (http://www.wordgolfshop.com/Mizuno-JPX-800-Irons-1129.html)but would be interested to hear your thoughts of any alternatives / what to avoid / what to look o--------------------------
