I'm glad to see that almost dying hasn't changed Brian Vicker's disposition on life...he's still a dick!

One of the best Richmond races in recent memory. Hopefully everyone got their paybacks out of the way so that we can see a clean chase.

Better enjoy it. Kyle's coming! ;)

I think this years chase will be something special. Gordon, Johnson, Busch(s), Edwards, Harvick, they all have a good shot at the title. Plus, there is always a surprise driver to step it up early.

Well with all the drama in the media center, on track and people "getting in other's heads"; I doubt all of this changes much in the chase. It was one of the better races of the year because in amongst all that yellow there was some good long runs in the latter half of the race; and you had a bit of everything. What struck me the most was how Harvick found his mojo again. He goes on a roll like he did early in the season, and Jimmie's reign is in jeopardy. Between Jeff, Carl and Kyle all running well, and Kurt gunning for the 48; Jimmie is going to have his hands full. Good thing he has his secret weapon Chad Knaus. After being there and listenig to the scanner, I must say the two most impressive crew chiefs to listen to are Knaus and Letarte. Letarte spent most of the night keeping Junior seeing the big picture when half the field used him as a pinyata. Chad just took the whole thing in stride and was making wise cracks all night.....

NASCAR will investigate Menard spin - NASCAR - Yahoo! Sports (http://sports.yahoo.com/nascar/news;_ylt=AsdUvkexw8dfo1PXbPjnwdbov7YF?slug=jh-helton_menard_spin_radio_richmond-091611)

This would be credible if there were a third party doing the investigation.

NASCAR isn't going to find anything officially because no one says on the radio "Spin out Paul, we need a yellow". They aint that stupid. That said, you can bet they have been read the riot act behind closed doors.....it was obvious as hell after hearing the radio conversation there was a game being played...
