I'm in Manhattan and I didn't feel it but others sure did.

I sure felt it here outside of Philadelphia. It shook for about 30-45 seconds. At first I thought it was a large truck going down the street but it took too long and kept getting stronger before it stopped. No damage here though. My niece works in Maryland and her husband in Wash DC. They were both evacuated from their buildings.

I've been in an earthquake during my stay in japan... but we were about 20 stories up and the building swayed. I woke up feeling sea sick and my bed moving.

They're pretty scary things...
