Ok now this is getting silly now. I know i know ...im a chevy fan and should be happy but im not.
Its getting ridiculous now. Ill still dont know what Gow couldn't of waited till 2013 for the turbos and ngtc cars. We wouldn't be getting stupid system they have now.

The Chevy was on pole at Croft by 3 tenths of a second and yet we see yet another penalty applied to all the turbo cars. Very disappointing decision by TOCA which is ruining this season round by round.
Looking forward to next season when perhaps we'll see the rules set at the beginning and then left alone. Still Jason will be pleased eh?

An artificial way to put Plato back into the championship fight, but I won't be surprised if he manages to screw it. Karma can be a female dog, as we saw in Croft ;)

Slightly bemused that the new penalty can be removed on a car by car basis, whenever TOCA see fit throughout the weekend. So that basically means that everyone bar the Hondas will have it back by the end of qualifying and Jason will be whinging still........
I wonder what he will say when the BMWs kick his arse again like they did at Croft? Surely they must be cheating too?

Maybe TOCA should make a rule that no car is allowed to finish in front of JP and he will be happy.

I think the last round at Silvestone just can't come quick enough for toca? :o
Honda totally deserve this years championship but will they be 'allowed' to win?
With no team orders though, maybe they'll play their own handicap tactics (see Oulton Park last corner) ;)

I get the impression that the BTCC is trying too hard to appeal to Max Power (does that still exist?) readers rather than race enthusiasts :s
This constant tinkering with the rules to spice up "the show", coupled with a very lax attitude to driving standards, is making a mockery of the championship.

On the latter point, Jeff Allam's words as reported in the August issue of Motor Sport made for interesting reading:
'Some of the driving is outrageous and it's becoming like a stock car race. It's ridiculous... The penalties and consequences of people pushing and shoving are going to get bigger... One of the main problems in the BTCC is that some of the drivers are completely out of their depth. I won't mention any names, but they shouldn't be in the championship'.
The item also stated that he was concerned about how BTCC driving standards had filtered down to one-make series, not least after his secretary was nearly hit by the MR2 that went through the barriers at Paddock in that horrific incident a few months back. It was fortunate she was breast-feeding her baby at the time, for the car destroyed her pram and Brands apparently had to buy her a replacement. So, it would appear that Allam will take the role very seriously, which can only be good news.

As I said before, I enjoy action-packed races. There shouldn't be mindless crashes and blatant moves, but for example I like the driving of Matt Neal or Tarquini (in the WTCC).
