Carabante goes to jail - or does he?

I've read in a Spanish newspaper (http://www.laprovincia.es/deportes/2011/06/17/condenado-tres-meses-carcel-presidente-hispania/381000.html) that Mr Carabante has been found guilty of fraud and that he's been sentenced to three months in jail, although he won't have to go to jail.

Our judicial system works wonders, doesn't it?
