David Letterman's Top 10 reasons why there are no black NASCAR drivers:
(I bet his life will be miserable after the NAACP sees this!)

#10 - They have to sit upright while driving.
# 9 - Their pistol won't stay under front seat.
# 8 - The engine noise drowns out the rap music.
# 7 - The pit crew can't work on car while holding up pants at the same time.
# 6 - They keep trying to carjack Dale JR.
# 5 - Police cars on track interfere with race.
# 4 - No passenger seat for the Ho.
# 3 - No Cadillacs approved for competition.
# 2 - When they crash their cars, they bail out & run.

AND THE NUMBER ONE REASON WHY BLACKS CAN'T BE IN NASCAR.. .

#1 - They can't wear their helmets sideways!

I was checking the Late Night web site and looked at the latest top 10 lists of this month and I couldn't find it.

are you sure this is a David Letterman top 10?

I'm a Letterman fan and I know his brand of humor and this was definitely not his style.

I couldn't really picture Letterman saying something like that.

Even I found that offensive, and I've been known to enjoy some offensive jokes in my day.

I'll also admit to being a bigger Leno fan.

Our country has gotten to politically correct. We watch black comedians on TV making fun of each other and whites and we laugh like crazy. But if a white makes a black joke, he's a racist. Oh well, I don't care who you are, I think it’s funny.

People do not share enough common experience for either of the above statements to be true. A good joke or dinner is up to the individuals taste. PC, healthy, moral, etc, or not.

Nybody notice the ad - with the rap music and the car going slow down the front stretch with the seat way back. They come to a stop and Ejr gets out of a rental and swaps back cars with some rapper dude that was in his car.

I mean that was right out of the top ten.

It should be renamed to "why there are no rapper NASCAR drivers". I'm pretty sure there are loads of decent black people as well.
