I recently installed Ubuntu 11.04 OS on my other laptop. I really like it. Mac-believers and Windows-die hards bring it on!

Nothing much wrong with Linux/Unix. Nothing much wrong with Mac OS X. Nothing much wrong with Windows 7. People should use the hardware and OS that best suits their needs.

No, he's just asking which desktop you're using. The commonality with Linux is that you have a choice of desktops, with Gnome (similar to Microsoft's desktop) and KDE ( which is similar to Apple's). Both are quite useful and give a feel to what proprietary OS' they've used previously, be it Windows or OSX.
