OT: Kimi's first truck race

Started 31st, finished 15th. His car owner, Kyle Busch, won the race.

Don't keep up with the trucks too much, but that's a solid finish considering he's only tested on short ovals.

Its an even more impressive result than it seems on paper. Watching the race, those trucks were all seriously loose last night, Kimi brushed against the outside wall twice during the race, but the reigning champion wrecked and even the winner Kyle Busch went round too. I can't wait to see Raikkonen's next race.

Great race overall by Kimi considering his time in the trucks and the loose conditions noted above. And now due to Kimi, I've actually recorded and watched my first truck race.


Thumbs up to Mark for allowing the thread. I think events involving former F1 drivers should be allowed like this, considering how few of them there are living and still racing.

Kimi was a great driver... (I mean is of course, but no longer in F1 so I don't follow his racing) I have no problrm with him at all....

But he was being a complete 'dick' when he snubbed the gathering of all living WDC's last year (Piquet Snr being the only other notable WDC missing but his was more understandable)... otherwise he is a big loss to F1.
