BTCC apoints driving standards advisor

Well after all the fuss after Donington and all the stick the BTCC gets the championship will have a driving standards advisor in ex-driver Jeff Allam from the next round onwards.

To me it can only be a good thing as the standards can get ridiculously low at times!

Allam will be taking over from Stevie Wonder and David Blunkett.

I must say, as great a BTCC driver as Allam was, I didn't notice any discernable improvement in driving standards during his last period in the post.
