I was watching Heikki Kovalainen's interview after the race. He was smiling like Santa Claus on Prozac as usual, said everything went well, the car and the strategy worked fine, yada yada yada. HELLO! You were 16th! Only the first 10 score points!

In answer to your question. Yes, but rarely.

You could argue that Jenson Button gave us a sample of a good loser becoming a winner in 2009.

Kovalainen is already an F1 winner.

Yes he has won and Grand Prix, and driven for Mclaren for 2 years, not many of F1's drivers can say that.

Depends on what you define as a 'win'. He beat Williams on the track, on pace. For a team barely 2 years old, I'd say that should count as a 'win'.

I think Heikki still has a lot to offer F1.

Which for Team Lotus is like a victory at the moment. Points come later.

Ask Bunsen - he lost so many races before he finally won.
