INDIANAPOLIS (AP) - Paul Tracy is back in IndyCar for a limited run, signing a five-race deal with restructured Dragon Racing.
Tracy has been without a full-time ride the past two seasons, making five starts last year. The former Champ Car champion already has a deal lined up with Dreyer & Reinbold for the Indianapolis 500 in May.
Tracy will make his first start for Dragon Racing at Long Beach on April 17. The former version of the team, de Ferran/Luczo Dragon Racing, folded last month after it was unable to land a sponsorship deal for Tony Kanaan. He signed a full-season deal to drive for KV Racing Technology in March.

Great news! PT says here (http://www.racer.com/paul-tracys-blog--enter-the-dragon/article/199855/)they are working on more races, including Milwaukee, New Hampshire, Baltimore and Las Vegas. It is encouraging that three out of those four races will be on ABC and Baltimore seems to have a lot of buzz and corporate support. Also, PT's engineer will be Eric Zeto whom he worked with at Forsythe Racing.
It will be great to see both Tracy and Bourdais on the streets of Long Beach. They have a combined 7 wins there.

Good news for sure. I hope they can give him a good car and the Bourdais/Tracy show resumes after years in hiatus. Now if only we can get Hinchcliffe in a car.

Really hoping PT is able to put a deal together for Baltimore and I agree, Someone needs to get a deal done for Hinch. He's good, and a is a great personality for the series. I'd like to see him back in the booth as well. he was great doing the Online international color commentary for CHAMPCAR.

Yep, just saw the article at Speed. Great to see Hinch get a chance. He was always being mentioned about being in talks with "x" team since CC days, but nothing ever coming of it. Finally, he has his chance. It sounds like all races, but Brazil and Japan.

Great news, watching PT is always a joy/fun/exciting/frustating. One of my all time favorites....just glad he's getting another chance. And for Hinchcliffe too. The series is coming together, no where near done, but heading in the right direction. Now, we just got to get people watching.
