Looks like tire issues a la Indy from a couple of years ago. Someone said that Goodyear was trying to use less petroleum and more synthetics in the manufacturing process and that's what is causing the problems. (They switched the tires at Bristol to the old tire.) Any truth to that, or just what are the issues?

It appears that a few teams had a problem with graining of the tires at Martinsville last year, SO Bad Year came out with a harder tire for this year for this race....
