So who's going to Brands?

Anybody going to Brands Hatch this weekend? Seems to be alot going from various other forums.

Just the Sunday for me but involves setting off at 2am :p

I'm travelling from Lancaster on Friday which is just as bad!

Lancaster to Brands Hatch - 273 miles, 4 hours 34 minutes
Newcastle to Brands Hatch - 294 miles, 5 hours 8 minutes

They're both gruesome!

Yep, I'll be there probably both days. Tickets arrived the other day in a blood splattered envelope. I'm only the other end of the M20 so I'll have a bit of a lie in :p

I'll be there! Picking up a mate at Southampton docks so its a long day!
Kettering - Southampton, Southampton - Dartford, Dartford - Brands, Brands - Southampton, Southampton - Kettering, nearly 500 miles!

Only live 20minutes away but although i would love to go the coverage on itv4 is great so that will have to do. Atleast brands hatch indy you can see all the cars all the time if your along the main straight bank :)

I would love to be there but its very from my place please update with your experience when you come from Brands.

Im 70/30 that im going, im only 40mins drive and a mate wants to go to. Will give me a chance to use my new Nikon SLR.

Only problem is what Jason Potato pointed out. I love the ITV4 coverage. I could quite happily sit in front of the box all day watching the BTCC.

I can't believe I've driven from Scotland to Brands 15 times over the years. You're talking 440 miles and 7 or 8 hours on the road. At least I split the journey up over two days most of the time! Actually it scares me how many miles I did between 2001 and 2009. :s

Hope you enjoy it, I'll be watching it Sky+'d on ITV4 HD so I can fast forward the ads, the Formula Renaults and anything that isn't interesting!
