Well, at least a backmarker car.
Apparently, Giorgio Mondini was never in contention for the HRT seat, and instead bought his 30-odd laps for approximately $210,000.
That's about $6500 per lap. :eek:
(Just for fun, I calculated how much it cost to run my Sodi-Rotax at my local 1/4 mile kart track, which takes 23-24 seconds: $110 per hour, or around $.78 per lap.) :p :
