Well, folks, it's that time of year, again. Here is your weather forecast for the Bud Shootout and Daytona 500 Qualifying weekend:

Thursday: A 50 percent chance of showers. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 63. North northwest wind around 10 mph.

Thursday Night: A 30 percent chance of showers. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 55. North northeast wind between 5 and 10 mph.

Friday: A 20 percent chance of showers. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 67. Northwest wind between 5 and 10 mph.

Friday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 46. North northwest wind around 10 mph.

Saturday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 62. North northwest wind around 10 mph.

Saturday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 44. North northwest wind around 5 mph.

Sunday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 67. North northwest wind around 5 mph becoming calm.

Looks like a slight chance of showers for practice day (Friday) but nice temps. A little chilly Saturday night for the Shootout, with aboslutely fabulous weather in store on Sunday for qualifying, and it looks like for the first time in years, wind will NOT be an issue during qually! :D

This Afternoon: Sunny, with a high near 59. North wind around 15 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph.

Tonight: Patchy frost after 4am. Otherwise, mostly clear, with a low around 37. North wind around 5 mph becoming calm.

Sunday: Patchy frost before 7am. Otherwise, sunny, with a high near 63. Calm wind becoming northwest between 5 and 10 mph.

If you're down there make sure u are bundled up!

wouldnt worry about the weather, but the rolling blackouts Daytona keeps happening.
