Estonia Joins the Euro

I suppose that the Krone was the symbol of Estonia's independance from the Soviets, but does joining the Euro mean that they've now been accepted by the west?

At the end of 2009, the lowest ratios of government debt to GDP were recorded in Estonia (7.2%)

Does it mean something worse though? Will the little Baltic Tiger have to pay hoardes of money to help bail out less prudent and "richer" governments?

Funny poster, but I hope Estonian government is clever enough, not to pay other countries debts or actually to secure that investing banks can continiue to play their 0% risk game, our government was not.
