Villa all but relegated from the Prem, while its a big day for Leicester's crazy season.

Spurs winning would be a shocker too but I hope Ranieri does it for Leicester. I haven't seen or followed the prem this season much but this is the biggest story in ages...

I am a Man Utd fan but given how bad their season is I wouldn't mind if they lose the next match too. Go Leicester City!! It's unbelievable how this small team has gone from rock bottom to one win away from being Champions in such a short span of time... and when you think of all these super rich clubs in the Premier League it's even more impressive. I'm also quite satisfied Ranieri got his (sort of) revenge after being humiliated by those pathetic excuses of player he coached before Leicester City.

You seem to be confusing the owner with the club, or to be more exact the owner's wealth with the club's budget. But to make you happy I'll change rich clubs with expensive teams.

Is there a club in the Premier League owned by some some poor guy anyway?

Probably worth posting here:

http://www.bbc.com/news/uk-england-36138337
Ninety-six football fans who died as a result of a crush in the 1989 Hillsborough disaster were unlawfully killed, the inquests have concluded. The jury found match commander Ch Supt David Duckenfield was "responsible for manslaughter by gross negligence" due to a breach of his duty of care. Police errors also added to a dangerous situation at the FA Cup semi-final.
The prime minister said the inquests had provided "official confirmation" fans were "utterly blameless". After a 27-year campaign by victims' families, the behaviour of Liverpool fans was exonerated.
- BBC News, 26 Apr 2016

Forget Ranieri! Forget Guardiola! Klopp is the man. In just 7 months he brought passion, self belief and motivation and here we are ladies and gentlemen, heading again to the Europa League final.
Liverpool saved the honour of the English clubs in European competitions of 2016 that otherwise tend to become a Spanish affair.
And what a hell of a road to the final.....

Klopp has hardly set the world alight in the Premier League and, unfortunately (for the competition itself), the Europa League doesn't seem to be of interest to too many teams. When accidentally some top team ends up in Europa League, they usually take it half-assed and are out rapidly. But it's still good for small teams like Liverpool

He signed just 7 months before. Maybe they lost some matches but the team plays different since he came. In 7 months he brought Liverpool to 2 finals, Europa League and Capital One Cup ( lost vs M City, on penalties )

So Van Gaal wins the FA Cup but already looks set to be replaced by Mourinho.

Despite winning a trophy most United fans will be glad to see the back of him. Two thirds of the way through his contract there hasn't been any real progress as Old Trafford. The defence is still weak and the midfield still hasn't been strengthened.

However, Van Gaal has managed to bring through a few promising youngsters such as Lingard and Rashford. My biggest concern with Mourinho is that he doesn't really build for the future. Interesting times ahead.

All I can say is LIVERPPOL!!! - played 11, won 8, drawn 2 - top of the Prem.

Klopp and the new signings seem to have transformed the team. Mane looks awesome, Wijnaldum is starting to look as good as he did at Newcastle last season and MAtip reminds me of a Sami Hyypia, big, strong, slightly clumsy, but the bargain signing of the decade.

Only problem is they have been here before and provided us with so much disappointment.

Being a scouser and supporting the reds my whole life, I have learnt in the last 25 years to rejoice in the moment. If you wait until the end of the season, there will be a succession of near misses to look back on and usually an empty trophy cabinet :)

This is why we need to approach Liverpool City Council to install intercity chainsaw rockets on the Radio City Tower. Sure, it's a daft idea and will probably achieve nothing but it's no weirder than building a stadium inside a power station as Chelsea have proposed or moving out of a library and into a giant swirling washing machine as Arsenal have done.

I'm neither a scouser nor a lifelong fan, but I've always had a soft spot for them and been hoping against hope for a title ...someday. Stevie has been at LA Galaxy since he left Anfield. His contract has just ended, there is speculation about him joining Brendan Rogers at Celtic for the rest of this season (from January). He has also been offered a position back at Anfield whenever he wants it in coaching and mentoring young players, with a view to him eventually coaching the senior players.

It would still have been 4-1 win and a moral victory. Anyways Barca got caught up in the hype/adrenaline and lost to Depor :\ to make it very tough in the league while Madrid sneaked a win again with Ramos scoring - the keeper apparently was lucky to not be sent off. gah..just when I thought the league was now in the grasp again,.

still might lose the title but atleast Messi showed why he is the best. Ter Stegen was good too as everybody in front of him is useless. Gomes is ridiculous. I also like how Sergi Roberto has basically re-invented himself.
I watched on a tiny live stream at 360p with a Portuguese feed - from whatever I could understand they surprisingly weren't fawning all over madrid/cr7 like the commentary we get in India (British!)and let's be honest he had one of the worse games in clasico - somewhat like his earlier years where he would vanish in big games. He missed 3/4 absolute sitters for his level, Messi missed 1 as well.
