Barcelona worry me.

I think they are truly stuck between ideas. They pass and pass, but without the 2009-2012 players in form, they create nothing much.

Messi has played better in some games, but still looks a bit static. Last night it was Messi v PSG at times, but they didn't give him the ball enough.

A couple of years ago, there were calls of needing to stop depending on Messi, now it appears they are trying not to, but are quite toothless at times. Now they need to use him more.

Anyway Leo is still great at times and the brief glimse of football for his goal, between him & Iniesta was brilliant.

So the mental one is whinging about his opponents time wasting and costing his team of over-paid prima-donna's a win.

Erm Jose mate it seems like only weeks ago that you had your team waste time at every opportunity against Liverpool, and you saw it as a legit tactic to prevent your opposition from playing. The difference was that Man Utd have one of the top 3 GKs in the world with de Gea, a finisher as good as Falcao on the bench and Liverpool didn't even start with a striker.

too true Liverpool just aren't doing it at present. It is more than just selling Suarez, as good as he is, he is only one player, and the real problems seem to stem from the back of the pitch. Liverpool teams - even poor ones have always had fight and desire, this IS missing with this bunch, and if Rogers can't rediscover this he will not be Liverpools manager next season.

de Gea was good at Atletico too - only thing was suspect at crosses but he has always been a great shot-stopper - come to think of it, almost any Spanish or La Liga keeper is a fantastic reaction save type keeper.
DdG probably lost his confidence early on in England with the media on his back and you know who as coach...Now he has come to terms with the league, style and is confident too.

Fergie managed de Gea well. When the media was on his back calling for his head, Fergie stood by him and kept his faith.

Went to the game, was a straight forward win as you'd expect. The next round against Preston North End is an interesting one for me as I live about 7 miles away from Deepdale. Unfortunately as I'm not a Man Utd season ticket holder it'll be virtually impossible for me to get a ticket in the United end. :(
