Sadler on pole
JJ starting 17th
Harvick 26th
Hamlin 30th
None of the main 3 contenders really lit it up in qualifying. It will be interesting to see practice rank tomorrow, particularily 10 lap averages.

Lots of Fords at the front in qualifying.HP shows. Watching qualifying and the lap tracker, the Toyota's were losing a lot on the straightaways.

#24 crew to service #48 the rest of the race. That can't be good for team morale.

Only watching race off and on...are you serious about this? 48 crew is normally pretty stout, seems drastic in the middle of a race.

I agree, not the best for team morale.. though you gotta wonder why they have been so crappy on pit stops lately. Should have made the change mid-week though, not middle of the race.

I guess they figured desperate times/desperate measures.

#24 team has been the best all year, #48 only 4th best and they lost a few spots on a couple of spots today before the switch.

Knaus is normally unflappable. It smacked of panic to me. That #48 team has been there done that...to switch when they are running at a top 10 pace...not enough to gain to warrant the risk/reward IMO. More at my article.

the thing is, does Knaus know they are cheating and they dont wanna win to have the car broken down at NASCAR HQ and get the fine so they will run top 5's and have the small inspection squad look over the car.
because judging on Foxtrax, they were still in a class of their own but were not really ever a challenge for the lead.

I dunno, dude. I can't see Knaus playing coy with three races to go, and now being down 33 points. They need to beat Hamlin by a decent margin in one of the next two.

CONCORD, N.C. (Nov. 8, 2010) – The Nos. 24 and 48 Hendrick Motorsports teams will trade pit crews for the remaining two races of the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series season.
The change is limited to the seven primary over-the-wall members of the respective pit crews. Roles of additional team personnel will not be affected.
