Next weekend (25. / 26. September) the sixth round of the Austrian Championship takes places at the ARBÖ Rallye Steiermark around Admont / Styria.

There will be five S2000 cars at the start:
Raimund Baumschlager and Toto Wolff in Skoda Fabia S2000
Waldemar Benedict and polish driver Tomasz Kuchar in Peugeot 207 S2000
and Andreas Waldherr in VW Polo S2000

The rallye starts Friday Evening with a short prologue.

i just came home from the rally...we were at that corner...it looked like the driver lost the brakes...at the service there was no mention of dead spectators...just injured....unbelivable sad.

Yes, as I said before in my post ... also, reading the comments on youtube video, it seems that the driver lost the right side brakes and for this reason the car lost the correct approach before the hairpin (it was the end of the SS, last hairpin).
Of course the driver has no blame, people should haven't been there, it was prohibited place (and a lot moved from there... accident could have been even worse than this).

All 3 top finishers with evo X from different teams(VRS-TANGO RALLY TEAM) with first in podium F Villagra, second Madero,and third Ligato.

Evo X without problems,gaining all the ss.Thats something to think some ''heads'' of pirelli.Not only in this round,but in hole championship in the difficult Argentinian gravel. ;)

To view results when you get stage times you have to change ENCODING of that page.
You can do it on this way(if you are using Internet Explorer):
Go in View Tab in Internet Explorer, then on Encoding and than select Cyrilic(Windows)
That should sort this problem

hermann gassner junior is the new german rallye champion!!! nice fight between semerad jr. wallenwein jr. and gassner jr. martin semrad was on stage 8 to fast over a jump and hit an sand wall and lost his first place!! it was very bad weather bad no snow!! the wrc cars dont start in the international rallye, they only drive 6stages lausitz cup! the german motorsport club hatt the start of vehicles prohibited! the drivers are very angry. kuzaj, kahle and vierima dont start! kuipers jr and sr, van eldik and korda start for test!!! very bad for the wrc drivers and the fans around the special stages!!!

Humar is very fast in a rocket pocket car, let's wait and see how fast he will be in a Subaru. I wish him success, because he is really a nice (and fast) guy. The only problem (till now) was budget for racing ... :)
Rally Novi Vinodolski is a nice event (the same as Rally Pore&#269 ;) , but short of good entry list. I think that Uroš Petrič (Subaru) will not compete. :confused:

It was predicted some small rain on the last stages. Hevia took intermediate while Mikkelsen took the softest slicks they had and cut them a little.
The rain didnt appear and Mikkelsen had the best tyrechoice and won.
