Excellent lap by Alex MacDowall to snatch pole from Gordon Shedden. When was the last time that works teams locked out the front two rows of the grid? Steven Kane and Paul o'Neill putting on excellent laps, looking very competitive. Less than two tenths separating the top 8 cars.

Anyone know what happened to cause the red flag in the middle of qualifying?

I think Shaun Hollamby might get a little lonely at the back this weekend without Forster Motorsport or Martin Johnson to keep him company, still it will give him a better chance of scoring points in the Independent Drivers' Championship.

Andy Neate went wide at Seat Curve and hit the tyre barrier.

Rockingham in 2007 when we had SEAT and Vauxhall...

Well done Alex MacDowell but I feel those Honda's and looking dangerous in 2nd and 3rd. Should be some good racing tommorow :)

Excellent win for Gordon Shedden keeping his title hopes alive. Alex MacDowall did a good job, hope he can continue the form in the next two races.
Some good fun racing behind the front two, I would criticise ITV for missing Kane pass Neal but there was so much going on I can't really blame them.

I really hope Paul o'Neill is able to find the funds to finish the season. He has been excellent this year.

A good one-two for Honda, cutting Jason Plato's lead down in the championship. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt and choose to believe that there were no team orders in that. I wasn't very impressed with Jason Plato and Tom Chilton's moves on Steven Kane. I feel sorry for Paul o'Neill a good 6th place lost.

So now the Plato passes Chilton in a drag race along the straight...I don't suppose we'll be hearing many complaints now............

tbh it takes some quite impressive skill to get a Land Rover Discovery stuck on some grass so I say well done to them :)

A good move by Jason Plato on Tom Onslow-Cole to take the race win. Lots of driver errors in this race, Gordon Shedden being the most obvious spinning all by himself. Shame to see John George slip out of 9th place going wide at the chicane.
