Love to see RACxx again where Delacour was abusing his co-driver mid roll for deliverying the pace note too late!!!

Colin's feat from Argentina 1998 when he bent rear suspension arm, fixed it roadside with a huge rock, almost exceed maximum lateness before next stage and drove fastest time on that one.

Petter and Phil fixing loose steering wheel at full rally speed.

Armin Schwarz in 1997 Safari where his Ford broke throttle cable but ingeniusly used co-driver Giraudet's shoe laces to operate the throttle for the remainder of the section.

That was brilliant bit of thinking... I remember watching that... drove the next 80 km or whatever it was and only dropped a 1 min or somehing small like that

Carlos Sainz @ Argentina 1990

This has to be the craziest moment in rallying. Remember Luis Moya shouting out the notes like a machine-gun? In Rally Argentina 1990, he turned over 2 pages of his pacenote book instead of one and the notes he was shouting out to Carlos Sainz bore little relation to the rapidly aproaching scenary. Carlos promptly crashed his Celica and rolled 3 times. Remarcably they got themselves in motion again an went on to finish second to Biasion.

Given that this lame excuse for a programme only seemed to include incidents from the last decade, the above wasn't included.

I didn't see this but it sounded more like a comedy programme. Fits in well with the rest of ITVs output though... "You've been framed driving a WRCar"

In my eyes, this was quit a crazy moment too:

This was more like The World's Wildest WRC Videos, albeit with a more annoying commentary.

Tour de Corse Rally of 2000. If this was crazy, you can't forget Mäkinen's crash at the 2001 edition. More freak incidents to me actually.

I'm not sure if it was the craziest but one of the most ballsiest (<--hope that's a word ) move I've seen. Juha Kankkunen didn't bend with team order and refuse to slow down in the last stages and finished first, in front of Richard burns. needless to say, Richard was the one who Prodrive wanted to be a champion. Kankkunen drove in front of cameramen and reporters and opened his side window at the same time Subaru's team engineer came to co-drivers side. Juha asked ove Juha Repo that what shall they do, should they take a time penalty ?? Poor team engineer couldn't answer a thing due the reporters with microphones. Then David Richards came and said you have won the rally.

I'm pretty sure that if he had kept his window up, the result would have been different. Later, David Richards said that Richard Burns was the morale winner of rally. I dunno why, Juha Knakkunen finished first  And don't even try to tell me Richard took it easy by the end, because he didn't.

EDIT: The year was 1999 and the rally was Argentina.

I don't know about the craziest moment, but the craziest final rally of the season was Rally GB 1994. For Carlos to become champion, he had to finish 1st, and Auriol no better then 4th. After having some problems Auriol lost a lot of time and all that worked perfectly for Carlos. Yes but all Brits wanted Colin to win, so buch of idiots put some trees on the road for Carlos and he got stack in the ditch for few minutes. Colin won the race, and Didier got the title.
For the record, I was spectating just few km after the accident spot. It was a cold, rainy morinig but there were a lot of people around me and there was complete silence when Carlos didn't show up on time. I'll never forget this moment.

It was in Spain in 1995. He was told to back off so that Carlos could take an easy win, and being Colin he wouldn't listen. There was a great interview with an angry Mcrae at the time which ended with him storming off and kicking a bin over!

Probably the most crazy thing was the conservety of the '86 Sanremo rally. I think an explanation is unnecessary.

I think it would be closer to 4km from the end of the stage. It wasn't the last stage because the Ford mechanics had to do a lot of work to fix the car and keep Carlos in the rally.

You can see the whole stage onboard here (http://dabble.com/node/8699168).

Makinen's 1997 accident in Corsica where he hit a cow at 150kph and crashed deep down into ravine (much further than McRae) was equally frightening, luckily nobody (except cow) was hurt. Likewise in Corsica 2000 where Loix went straight on a corner and down, almost into a lake.

I also remember Makinen crashing into a bunch of parked cars. I think it was at the '95 Tour de Corse.

Yeah, Makinen hitting the cow in 97 was in the ITV4 show, scary stuff. There was a whole section on collisions or near misses with animals. Solberg hitting a Kangaroo in Australia, Loeb clipping a bull in Argentina etc.

Yes I remember that very well ... winning a stage in Spain (tarmac) with a Mitsu and Pirelli tyres, but crashing right after the finish line to avoid the time sensor block in the corner, crazy Gigi xD
I don't think it was ever showed on TV ? Maybe too much scary to air it, or the onboard camera got damaged after the accident.
