Hamilton, 25, pleaded guilty to improper use of a vehicle after police saw him do a burnout as he left the Albert Park grand prix track in March.
He was fined the maximum allowable - $500 - but no conviction was recorded.
Mr Brumby admitted the paltry fine would have little impact on the multi-millionaire driver.

 Those COPS must have been really bored.

If I were Lewis I'd have Nicole flash the COPS, so as to not get a ticket.

Maybe they'd fine her for being "double parked?"

He did a burnout?

Well raise my rent! Stone him to death, and make sure there are no women in the crowd.......!

Good. If it were one of us caught raggin' it up and down our local towns roads we'd be hauled over hot coals. He's got a race track and million pound race cars to play with - why toss about on the road??
