The University of California at Berkley is a quite highly ranked scholastic institution of a group that is all very highly ranked. UCLA, UCSD, and UC Berkley, Santa Cruz, Merced, Davis, and Santa Barbara, are all excellent Universities.
USC or the University of Southern California is a very highly rated exclusive private University and it is right in the center of one of the worst Ghettos in the USA

For some reason, the link posted reminds me of this article (http://blogs.wsj.com/wealth/2010/08/05/us-economy-is-increasingly-tied-to-the-rich/?KEYWORDS=Robert+Frank), which discusses America's dependence on the rich. Yes, greedy people will always be wealthier, but the gap between rich and poor is getting increasingly broader.

IN any case, the Rich are not more greedy per se, it is that they are more driven to succeed. It is why socialism is a crock of manure. Everyone has different drives and different motivators. Some are not motivated at all, some are extremely motivated. You try to hold down the motivated to make the unmotivated and lazy look better, you end up with an equality of outcomes....where everyone is misreable...

The rich employ people too....something that that stupid survey conveniently ignores...

I do business in the Greater San Diego Area It is my profound experience that The people that are actually rich, especially those that come from old money are the easiest going and most generous people to deal with. Residents of Fairbanks Ranch, Rancho Santa Fe, and La Jolla are a joy to do business with. It's the people who only think that they are rich that are the real pain in the ass. They are the ones who believe that their time is more valuable to them than yours is to you! :confused: The one that have absolutely no problem bold face lying, saying that the terms of our contract is 60 days when the contract says plainly pay upon completion. The ones that conveniently have an emergency 5 minutes before their project is done. I was simply pointing out to someone from another country that Berkley is largely a low income city. My Brother teaches elementary school in Berkley.

It never was. All the UC System Colleges have area's of specialzation. If you want to be an Oncologist you go to UCSD, or UCLA. If you want to be a veteranairian you got to UC Davis If you want to be a brilliant Mathematician, or Molecular Scientist you go to Berkley. A Lawyer go to UCLA
