I still want to know why the chairman of Jordan rally says that the event will be on 2008 calender... FIA didn't confirm that, and in October a project of 2008 calendar was shown at the meeting and almost nobody agreed with it. It's starting the confusion for the WRC08 callendar...

Because it is in 2008 calendar as you can see from this press release http://www.fia.com/mediacentre/Press_Releases/FIA_Sport/2006/October/181006-01.html . This calendar for 2008 was confirmed and approved by WMSC together with 2007 calendar, only open issue with it is which one of the three events Cyprus, South Africe or Poland will be in 2008 calendar.

I'm not so sure about that. My sources said that this was a project to 2008 that was not aproved, because you can't aprove rallyes that hadn't been seen by FIA observers. And more, that project cause surprise, specially in Portugal, Norway and Irland, because they had been put out of WRC before they did his first event.

Does anyone have any details about the event? What part of the country does it run in?

Any cheap flights? ;)

Maybe it's some kind of a rotate system?... In 2009 there again will be Norway and Portugal... Anyway, I'd like to see at least two snow events every year!
