I do get asked for Northern Soul occasionally and would normally play stuff like Everybody's Goin To the Love in by Bob Brady, California Soul by Marlena Shaw or Soul-A-Go-Go by The Watts 103rd Street Band. Perhaps a little Green Onions, Tainted Love or The Snake too if it goes down well.

"International Pop Overthrow" by Material Issue. I don't know how I missed these guys back in the early '90s when they were around, but they're awesome! An old Lemonheads album. I'd forgotten how good they were.

Indeed-Evan Dando had a fab voice, and was a great writer.

Anyone who likes this album should check out Radiodread by the Easy Star All Stars. It's a lovingly created reggae version of OK Computer. It is absolutely superb, somehow remaining true to the original and also being a great piece of reggae, especially given that none of the music is sampled from either Radiohead or anywhere else. It really is one of the best things that I have heard in a long time, equally as good as the original.

Anyways, currently lstening to Paul Lamb & The Kingsnakes - Fine Condition, good blues guitar and harmonica music, very lively. :)

Nothing because my computer can't handle the effort of burning a CD and playing it properly. If I was listening to it though it'd be DJ Signify.
