Does anyone else think Ferrari should be criminally prosecuted for race-fixing?

If a football team manager told Striker A that, if he and Striker B were both in a goal-scoring position, B must be the one to score, then he would be prosecuted. (Most betting scandals these days centre NOT around the final result, but around details such as the identity of a goalscorer, time of the first goal, number of corners, etc. Easier to disguise.).

People undoubtably bet on Felipe Massa to come second in this race, and the race was externally manipulated such that that happened. Ergo, race-fixing.

You simply can't DO this sort of thing in the modern world at large and expect to get away with it. I don't see why F1 should be the exception.

Would it be possible for the FIA to ban Ferrari from the rest of this F1 season?

The question is if they will do it.

well the FIA always seem to be letting Ferrari get away with cheating...
The same can also be said about the Ford and Citroen WRC teams, the sad thing is that team orders are allowed in the WRC...

WRC... is that where the leaders stop just before the end of the last stage of the day to get a better starting position the next day, or where they get their teammates to take time penalties to improve starting position ? :p
