View Full Version : What's your dream podium for Monaco?

Actually F1's most glamorous race doesn't have a podium, but I think you catch my drift.
Mine:
1Alonso

Of the current crop;

Hamilton
Button
Rosberg

Hamilton - Alonso - Webber (don't care about the order) --> all within 1 second of eachother.

Three aggressive, entertaining drivers from different teams (preventing team orders/favourtism).

1. De La Rosa (He's such a nice guy, and having terrible bad luck)
2. Alguersuari (The lad's getting better all the time)
3. Glock (because everyone behind him ran out of fuel)

Well, you did say dream...

3 wide across the line :D (yeah, right) in this order: (just)

1. Lewis Hamilton
2. Michael Schumacher
3. Sebastien Vettel

Alonso would have been in that 3, but he spun into the barrier at the hairpin and broke his suspension after 50 laps. with 2 laps to go, Karun Chandhok led after a rain affected race, but he eventually finished 6th, behind Kovalainen and Glock. 3 stints of rain and 3 dry stints led to drivers making 5/6/7 pit stops. Unfortunatly for Massa, he got lost on the pit entrance as he forgot about the new pit layout, despite being there since 2004. also, Button and Webber fought side by side before both running out of talent and subsequently took each other off the road at piscine. Button managed to get going again and score some points, because he was in a mclaren. a source of controvesy was made when di grassi, trulli and senna got in the way at la rascasse as they stopped for lunch there.

I wish.

My true dream podium would have me on the top step, but I digress.

A realistic dream podium of a normal race.

1. Button
2. Hamilton
3. Schumacher

My dream podium after a crazy race like 1996.

1. Button
2. Barrichello
3. Trulli

And then what I really want, next year, Kimi on top. If I´m not wrong it will then be his third win at Monaco.

Rosberg - I want him to beat Schumacher because he is a Monaco lad and this is his time. Schumi is just greedy.

Man this is a tougher question to answer than I thought :p :

1)Shuey
2)Alonzo
3)Button

Top to bottom-it would be the most WDC's (10) represented on the "podium" in F1 history! (Yes I know, one could scrubstitute Hamilton for Button, but why would I want to, Its my dream after all) :D

Should that podium be realistic? If not, then...

1. Trulli
2. Vettel
3. Errm.... why not Kobayashi for instance.
:D

But realistically I'd be happy with a Vettel win. And an outsider on the podium would be a nice addition as well (someone like Kubica for instance).

Jody Scheckter won Monaco twice - for me its the best it can ever be. He finished second twice and third once, all in the seven times he raced there.

A great record :-]
