If you want to know why RBR are at the front of the grid, ask this bloke! He won't tell you, but he will probably grin as you ask him. ;)

In my opinion he is worth all of a second.... at least. This guy has proven time and time again his worth to a team. The Renault engine is not even the best in the field, in fact it's not a bit on the Mercedes power plant but Red Bull are still schooling them!

Mark said yesterday that after he created his lead he was just managing the car home for safety, 24 seconds ahead!!!!

Was quite funny seeing Adrian studying the McLaren on the grid yesterday before the race..... notepad under his arm and all. ;)

For a brief bit, I thought he'd lost his magic. But clearly I was wrong. Him got heap good mojo. :p imp:

Indeed. He designed the Williams, it won championships. He designed the McLaren, it won championships, now he's designing a Red Bull which is dominant.

It is dominant - when up front.

Vettel did not seem to be able to make the required gap to be ahead apres pit stops, and made no real attempt to pass Hamilton until he was in the kitty litter on the last lap....

Fast but fragile - less fragile than before, but the brakes/wheel issue needs work.

No question in my mind however that Newey is a class above in terms of overall design.

Wonder, how would Red Bull Racing perform if Newey leaves them one day. I think the whole team deserves credit - as the modern saying goes, the days of winning with one man are over. Horner & Mateschitz have done a great job in improving the depth of the team throughout years. If it was only about Newey, RBR would have won already in 2007.

Now that Byrne retired Newey is the lone 'genius' left in F1. Both these guys are extraordinary aerodynamicists and designed several dominant cars in their careers.

Yes, very true. With Byrne out Newey is clearly the best...
