When I saw the title of this thread, I burst out laughing! I thought, well I'm not sure what I thought, but I didn't realize that was the real, honest name of the Nationwide race this weekend! For some reason, this is just making me ROFL.

Thank you. Carry on.

Nationwide qualifying is getting ready to start soon. I'm seeing an interesting development ocurring: the fastest lap in Nationwide final practice was a 21.679 seconds, set by Reed Sorenson. The fastest time in Sprint Cup final practice was only 21.705 seconds, set by Kyle Busch and was .026 seconds slower

That should NEVER happen, it would be like GP2 running faster than F1.

I hope this rectifies itself in qualifying!

The COT doesn't corner as fast on a short track as a Nationwide car and the straights aren't long enough for their power advantage to kick in. Also, the Cup car is harder to drive....

In NASCAR land, no one seems to be bothered too much by this....

It bothers me....

Anyway, I think it will be rectified when qually is over. The Nationwide cars lost some speed in the heat of the day

Nationwide qually is over.
Kyle Busch is on the pole with a time of 21.757 sec @ 124.098 mph

The slowest was Mike Wallace with a time of 22.923 sec @ 117.786 mph.

That makes the "pole to slow" range 1.166 sec and 6.312 mph

Pretty tight field this week!
