Was revealed today. One of the most noticable things is the new placement of the airfilter.

Its a nice looking car, but I do prefer the original...
Would be nice to see Petter win and back to the old days I miss!

It seems the Impreza has the most "vertical" back shock-absorbers in the WRC now. As far as I remember, Ford's and Citroen's shock-absorbers are much inclined... Can this make a difference? having watched the videos from the tests of Ford, Citroen and Subaru, I have a feeling that the leading duo is still far ahead of Subarus...

Front dampers are inclined but not as much as the Ford Focus, I have not seen many close up pics of the C4.

Having the front dampers more vertical makes it more resposive but unstable at high speed, not sure how it works for the rear of the car.

Wonder how they keep the water out of the airfilter, this is the same as on the classic impreza.

And at the same time: vertical dampers calls for more exact adjustment regarding the damper itself, it gets easier to lose yourself in different damper-settings.

Maybe because of the gravel set-up, but the car looks more like rally car than GT circuit machine. I hope the new car will bring some wins to Subaru.

I really don't believe this. Second and third places are possible, but a win? No.

Guys, do you really believe, that a team, which sucked for the whole year, can come and win the first rally it's competing with a new car? it's a nonsense.

Well they would have in 2004 if it hadn't been for the 5 min penalty and finished 3:14min behind the winner. They did in 2005. And they led until stage 11 when the powersteering broke and finished 48sec behind the winner in. They won the championship with a two year old car in 1995 they won the championship in 2001 and 2003 with a new car, ok last went a litle at the forest as we say in Norway.

So my conclusion is that the SWRT will win the 2007 Rally Mexico :D

Just a personal observation, but Subaru has been on the slide since Carlos and Colin left. Could it be that Subaru and Petter used the two vets (as did Citroen) to get a good car set up which was then used to springboard a mediocre (sp?) driver to a World Championship? And that is why with the new evolutions and no experienced driver to set the cars up properly, that Subaru have not been getting the results that they needed. A certain Mr Donnelly managed to get the S12 to handle, why can't Prodrive?

Subaru on slide since Colin and Carlos left!? But both Burns and Petter won the championship while finishing in top 3 of final standing multiple times driving Subaru. I think it is more of Tommi and perhaps Pasi Hagastrom who helped Petter alot getting a car needed for 2003 title. Is Pasi still testing for Subaru???
