Rather annoyingly as the season is about to start this coming weekend the activity on this forum and indeed the majority of websites relating to pickup truck racing has been some what quiet. good to hear about the revised engines and bodywork (2.3 duratec will sound =] )
what I have been missing is the usual build up "how many" ect. i know that no one knows until that day but general exciting things to wet a fan's appetite.
as nothing has been going on, i thought i would get the ball rolling (if anyone actually goes on this forum) so...
who?
how many?
how fast?
anything at all?!
from a faithful fan

Still drop in for a quick peek now and then, but it sure gets lonely in here.
Would love to see an entry list for this weekend, but can't seem to find anything anywhere. :(

Much appreciated, Speedworx. Helps to inform the decision on whether to visit the rock - looks like I'll be in the grandstand - do I need to get you to save me a seat? :)

I haven't watched an oval race at Rockingham since 2008.

A small crowd but a great days racing.
Less trucks but lots of competition in the lead pack of about eight cars. One of the best finishes to a pickup race in race 1.
Hard to notice the different front ends on the trucks without looking very hard and fortunately the new fronts did not seem to change the drafting/racing.

Thought from your post that you may have been there, sorry.
As Jonv says a small crowd - could have introduced myself to all of them in the break between races this afternoon!
Good close racing though - loved what Phil White said when asked why he chose the Ford front over the Isuzu.
Nice pics jonv.

so after the first weekend which i was unfortunately unable to make, i have no way in which to find out how it went? the website doesn't seem to have been updated in a while =[
not much for a fan to follow in terms of information and updates
how ever sounded like a good couple of races and good to hear about the front ends keeping the racing nice and close =]
