Not heard anything at all from him since he completed his BTCC season at Silverstone last year with RML Chevrolet. At the time the plan was very much to be back in 2010 full time but there seems to have been no news whatsoever. Anyone know anything? Is he racing somewhere else/still trying to raise budget?

I thought he was rather good in 2009. Had his push on Collard at Snetterton not occurred while they were battling for the lead, I'm sure it would have gone unpenalised. And elsewhere Nash was often well on the pace.

Money issues.. He has been talking to various teams about returning.

if he does make a come back to BTCC in a good car i can see him being one of the people we think of as top contenders, like at the moment you always think of Plato, Shedden, Collard, Neal, Jackson etc.

It is a shame that James Nash was unable to find the funds to continue this year, he was showing some promise in the Lacetti.
